Oklahoma City Scores Three First Half Goals, Hangs on to Beat FC Austin Elite, 3-2

Pam Caballeros, Jade Ovendale and Jaci Jones scored first-half goal and a short-handed Oklahoma City FC squad held on to take a 3-2 victory  at FC Austin Elite Saturday in a Women’s Premier Soccer League contest.
Oklahoma City FC got on the board four minutes in as Caballeros scored on a pass from Madison May.  Ten minutes later, Ovendale picked up her ninth goal of the season with an assist from Dria Hampton.  Jaci Jones finished the scoring for Oklahoma City FC on a pass from Caballeros and the lead was 3-0 at the half.  It stayed that was until the 78th minute when FC Austin got on the board and became a one-goal game as the home squad scored at the beginning of stoppage time.  With only one substitute available, Oklahoma City was able to finish the win.
Now 7-3-2, Oklahoma City FC moves on to play their final road game at Pines 1779 in Nacogdoches, TX on Sunday at 2 p.m.
