FC Dallas broke a 2-2 halftime tie with two second half goals to take a 4-2 win and knock Oklahoma City FC from the unbeaten ranks in Women’s Premier Soccer League action Saturday night
Jade Ovendale put Oklahoma City FC up 1-0 in the first five minutes with her fourth goal of the season, but FC Dallas struck back with two goals in three minutes midway through the first half to take the lead. Grace Schimmels scored on a pass from Dria Hampton just before halftime to tie it at 2-2 for Oklahoma City FC.
The home team tallied twice in a five minute span late in the second half and held off Oklahoma City FC for the 4-2 final. Oklahoma City FC is now 3-1-1, while FC Dallas moves to 5-0 with all five victories coming at home.
Oklahoma City FC remains on the road next weekend.to face the Texas Titans in Houston next Saturday.
